Charles Tyrwhitt Joins Forces with New York Yankees, Shaking Up the Fashion Scene
High-end menswear Charles Tyrwhitt is looking to expand its casualwear profile. The retailer, which operates in London and New York, has become a ‘Proud Partner’ of the New York Yankees baseball team.
This latest sports connection adds to the brand’s existing portfolio of partnerships, which include American football team New York Jets, as well as English rugby union and Premier League football team Fulham FC.
We’re told the latest association “marks an exciting collaboration between two iconic brands in their respective fields.”
The retailer said the partnership will bring “exclusive benefits” to Yankees fans and Charles Tyrwhitt customers alike, including special offers on the brand’s entire collection.
Both its formal and casual collections will be featured on platforms that connect with Yankees fans. This includes in-stadium signage, advertising on WFAN Radio during Yankees games, and Yankees fan e-mail communications “providing fans with additional insights about style and product advertising.
Sam Stanley, Vice President of North America at Charles Tyrwhitt, said: “One of [our] brand beliefs is ‘great clothes lead to greatness,’ and very few organizations demonstrate The sport is known for greatness like the New York Yankees, so it was a natural fit for us.
